Why is Corporater changing the Java version for Corporater BMP?
Java 21 is the latest long term supported (LTS) version of Java, containing new features, security updates and enhancements.
What versions of Corporater BMP does this affect?
Corporater BMP version 5.5.0.0 and onwards.
What do I need to do to run Corporater BMP version 5.5.0.0 or higher on a server?
You need to install Java JDK version 21 on the server.
Refer to the “Installation data” documentation set on the download page for detailed instructions and prerequisites for installation, upgrade and migration.
Does this affect end users and administrators?
For web users, there will be no change.
For admin users, Java 21 and Configuration Studio Launcher (CS Launcher) version 4.0.0 or higher must be installed to run Configuration Studio.

What versions of Corporater BMP is Configuration Studio Launcher version 4.0.0 compatible with?
CS Launcher version 4.0.0 will work with BMP version 5.2.1.0 and newer, i.e. it is backwards compatible with some of the Java 17 versions of BMP.

Can I have multiple Java versions installed on the client?
Corporater does not recommend to have more than one Java version installed on the client.
